O'Hara alone in the lead at SA Open
Gauteny, South Africa – Steven O'Hara posted a four-under 68 round lead at the South African Open Championship.
O'Hara, a first-round co-leader, finished 36 holes at 11-under 133 and is one stroke clear at Serengeti Golf Club.
Two-time champion Retief Goosen and fellow South African Merrick Bremner both carded four-under 68s as well on Friday and share second place at 10-under-par 134.
Two more South Africans, Garth Mulroy (68) and Lyle Rowe (66), are knotted in fourth at minus-nine.
O'Hara's fellow first-round co-leader, Jbe' Kruger, only managed a one-under 71 on Friday and is tied for sixth place with Jean Hugo, who posted a three- under 68 in round two. The pair came in at eight-under 136.
Defending champion and five-time winner Ernie Els shot a second straight three-under 69 and is part of a group tied for 14th at minus-six.
