If Mississippi's Marshall Henderson starts piling up points in the first half Sunday, La Salle could be in for a long night.

The gregarious shooting guard is making a habit of saving his best for last.

Coach Andy Kennedy has searched for ways to settle the excitable Henderson down and get him going from the opening tip. But nothing seems to work. So he says he'll just keep calling plays early and often for his polarizing star when the 12th-seeded Rebels (27-8) take on the 13th-seeded Explorers.

It will be the third game in five days for La Salle (23-9), which beat No. 4 seed Kansas State on Friday after getting past Boise State on Wednesday in Dayton, Ohio, in the "First Four."
