Lester, A's hold Mariners at bay

Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Sam Fuld and Brandon Moss each homered to back six scoreless frames from Jon Lester, as Oakland claimed a 4-0 victory over Seattle in the last of a three-game set.

Fuld finished 2-for-3, scored twice and drove in two, while Adam Dunn drove in the other run for the Athletics, who won two of three in the series.

Lester (15-10) walked four but fanned seven and allowed four hits to take the win. He and three other relievers combined to strike out 13 in the seven-hit shutout.

Chris Young (12-8) pitched into the seventh, but surrendered two runs on four hits while striking out five for the Mariners. Austin Jackson and Kyle Seager both posted two hits in defeat.
