Conwy, Wales – Barry Lane carded a 2-under 70 on Sunday to win the Wales Senior Open by one shot.
Lane finished his fourth European Senior Tour title at 7-under-par 209.
The Englishman parred the first nine holes in the final round at Conwy Golf Club. Around the turn, Lane birdied the 10th and 12th, both for the third straight day.
Lane moved to minus-8 with a birdie on the 17th, but closed with a bogey at the last to trim his winning margin to one.
Second-round leader Philip Golding managed an even-par 72 to end alone in second place at 6-under-par 210.
Last week's winner Anders Forsbrand shot 3-under 69 to share third place with Peter Fowler (72) at minus-4. Paul Wesselingh (69) and Mark Mouland (73) tied for fifth at 3-under-par 213.
