Szabolcs Huszti converted two penalties, including the winner in the 69th minute, as Hannover downed Bayer Leverkusen, 3-2, on Sunday in the Bundesliga.

Mame Biram Diouf also scored for Hannover, which had dropped three of its last four matches. Hannover climbed to 10th place with the win, its seventh of the season.

Gonzalo Castro and Stefan Kiessling scored for Leverkusen, which had won four straight in league play and five overall. Leverkusen is second in the table, but 11 points behind first-place Bayern Munich.

Monchengladbach 2, Mainz 0

Monchengladbach, Germany - Mike Hanke and Juan Arango scored in the second half as Monchengladbach defeated Mainz, 2-0, on Sunday to extend its unbeaten streak to four games in the Bundesliga.

Hanke opened the scoring in the 58th minute and Arango followed in the 63rd as Monchengladbach secured its sixth win of the season to climb to eighth in the standings on 24 points.

Mainz had its two-match winning streak snapped, and sits 11th in the standings on 23 points.
