The St. Louis Blues signed forward Jamie Langenbrunner to a one-year contract on Tuesday.

Langenbrunner had six goals and 18 assists in 70 games with the Blues last season.

"We are excited that Jamie has agreed to stay in St. Louis," Blues executive vice president and general manager Doug Armstrong said. "His professionalism and leadership both on and off the ice are invaluable assets for our club."

In 1,105 career NHL games with Dallas, New Jersey and St. Louis, Langenbrunner has 243 goals, 419 assists and 837 penalty minutes.

A two-time Stanley Cup Champion (Dallas 1999, New Jersey 2003), the Cloquet, Minnesota native has registered 34 goals and 53 assists in 146 playoff games.
