ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson refuses to be slowed by a sprained left knee.

Rather than allow himself to be carted off after aggravating the injury against Miami on Sunday, Jackson waved off the trainers and proceeded to return to the field to play a key role in a 23-21 victory.

Jackson scored a touchdown and then helped secure the win in the final minutes. He gained 16 yards on three consecutive carries to set up Dan Carpenter's 31-yard field goal with 33 seconds left.

It was a resilient performance by a seventh-year player who continued solidifying his role as the Bills' inspirational leader.

Sore as his knee felt Monday, don't be surprised to see Jackson playing this weekend when the Bills (3-4) travel to play New Orleans (5-1).
