Latino actors Wilmer Valderrama, Alexa Vega and Camille Belle star in the new romantic comedy “From Prada to Nada,” a film about two Americanized Latina sisters who rediscover their roots.
When asked how this film relates to the reality in Hollywood all three actors agreed that staying true to yourself is key to success.
“Hollywood is a lot of facades,” said Valderrama. “As long as you stay true to who you are you will always find it amusing and will continue to work because art is what you love and not a hype.”
Adding to this Brazilian actress, Camille Bell reiterates how much effort and sacrifice one has to put to make it in the movie industry.
“I think people don’t realize how not glamorous it is,” said Belle.
“From Prada to Nada” debuts in theaters Friday, Jan. 28. It follows two sisters who upon their father’s death, lose everything. They rediscover their roots when moving in with their estranged aunt in East L.A. from Beverly Hills.
