ARLINGTON, Va. – Police say officers fatally shot a man and two police officers suffered serious injuries responding to a domestic dispute in Northern Virginia.
Arlington County police say the incident happened late Tuesday morning.
Police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck says two officers who responded to the call about a domestic dispute suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police say one officer was shot by a stun gun, and the other suffered a serious facial laceration.
The man who was shot died after being taken to the hospital.
Authorities said a fourth person also suffered minor injuries.
