A man accused of killing three men and a hairdresser walking to her car has pleaded not guilty in a death penalty case.

Aeman Presley entered the plea Wednesday in DeKalb County Superior Court.

The 34-year-old faces malice murder, felony murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault charges in the Dec. 6 slaying of 44-year-old Karen Pearce. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.

Presley also faces separate charges, including malice murder, felony murder and aggravated assault in the Sept. 27 killing of 53-year-old Calvin Gholston, who was sleeping outside a shopping center.

Prosecutors aren't seeking death in that case, and Presley earlier pleaded not guilty. That trial begins Feb. 29.

Presley also faces murder charges and the death penalty in Fulton County in the killings of two homeless men there.
