Las Vegas police investigate report of mass-injury crash in front of casino on the Strip

Police say they are investigating a report of multiple injuries Sunday night after a car ran into pedestrians on the Las Vegas Strip.

KSNV-TV says the crash occurred in front of the Paris Hotel & Casino and Planet Hollywood on South Las Vegas Boulevard, north of Harmon Avenue. There are no confirmed reports on the number of casualties or the cause of the crash, which took place about 6 p.m.

The station says a woman, the alleged driver in the crash, is undergoing a field sobriety test. Multiple police and fire trucks are at the scene.

KSNV says the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has closed Las Vegas Boulevard between Harmon and Flamingo Road.
