Florida State University football fans who go to the game this weekend can bring their guns — if they have a concealed weapons permit and they keep the weapons locked in their cars.

One day after being sued over a policy banning guns on campus, the university said Wednesday that permitted gun owners can keep guns locked in parked cars.

But that doesn't satisfy Florida Carry Inc., a gun rights group that sued FSU seeking to allow any legal gun owner to keep guns locked in their cars, with permits or not.

The school said the strict no gun policy was modified two years ago after another Florida university lost a lawsuit over the issue, but FSU didn't update its online game day policies until the suit was filed.
