ANCHORAGE, Alaska – In a story Dec. 11 about findings of an investigation into a fatal C-17 crash in Alaska, The Associated Press reported erroneously that one of the crew members killed was posthumously promoted to senior master sergeant on Friday. Master Sgt. Thomas Cicardo, who was not a pilot, was posthumously promoted July 30.
