Matt Glass and Brendan Bald scored 13 points each to lead Vermont to a 60-48 victory over Albany (N.Y.) on Thursday night.

The Catamounts (11-3, 2-0 America East Conference) trailed 23-22 at halftime after shooting just 27.6 percent from the floor (8 of 29) in the first half.

Vermont, winners of four straight, started the second half on a 14-2 run — led by five points from Bald — to take a 36-25 lead with 14:42 remaining. The Catamounts led by at least seven the rest of the way.

Two free throws from Simeon Marsalis extended Vermont's lead to 41-28 with 12:56 to go. The Catamounts shot 50 percent in the second half (10 of 20) and 14 of 16 from the free-throw line (87.5 percent).

Logan Aronhalt led the Great Danes (8-9, 1-1) with 21 points. Mike Black added 13 and Tim Ambrose 10 on 4-of-17 shooting.

The Catamounts held Albany to 38 percent shooting (19 for 50).
