James Woodard scored 14 points in leading a balanced attack as Tulsa shot 57 percent from the field in thrashing Old Dominion 76-37 on Saturday.

Tulsa (13-12, 8-3 Conference USA) doubled Old Dominion's (12-14, 6-5) scoring output in the first half leading 40-20 at the break and holding the Monarchs to just 8 points in the final 11 minutes of the period.

Tulsa powered ahead to a 55-26 second half lead at 15:26 when Lew Evans sank one from long range. Both teams went scoreless for the next 4 minutes before the Golden Hurricanes got back to work in upping their lead to a game-high 39 points at the buzzer. Bowling Green held the Cardinals scoreless in the final 4 minutes.

Old Dominion managed only 28 percent shooting from the field and was outrebounded 34-21. The Monarchs were led in scoring by Ambrose Mosley with 12 points.
