Tadic's brace pushes Twente past Feyenoord

Dusan Tadic scored a pair of second- half penalty kicks on Sunday as Twente rolled to an easy 4-1 win over nine-man Feyenoord at De Kuip Stadion.

Feyenoord struck first 29 minutes into the match when Graziano Pelle hammered one into the back of the net, but the lead did not last long as Kyle Ebecilio equalized for Twente in the 37th minute and the sides went into the break level.

After the break, things went downhill for Feyenoord when Jordy van Deelen was sent off in the 57th minute and Tadic converted his first spot kick of the match to put the visitors in front.

Nine minutes later, Feyenoord went down to nine men when Stefan de Vrij was shown his marching orders, and Tadic bagged his second goal in the 73rd minute to give Twente a two-goal advantage.

Luc Castaignos scored 11 minutes from time to wrap up all three points for Twente, which moved into fifth place in the table through two fixtures, while Feyenoord sits in 17th place with two defeats from their first two matches.

Elsewhere in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday, Roy Beerens, Aron Johansson and Viktor Elm each scored as AZ Alkmaar rallied for a 3-2 victory over Ajax, while Nick Van der Velden and Richairo Zivkovic each found the back of the net for Groningen in a 2-0 result over Utrecht.

In Sunday's final Eredivisie fixture, Sander Duits scored a pair of goals two minutes apart to lift RKC Waalwijk to a 4-2 win over Vitesse.
