Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Pittsburgh Pirates have reportedly agreed to a contract extension with starter Charlie Morton.
The three-year, $21 million deal includes a club option for 2017, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
In his return from June 2012 Tommy John surgery, Morton went 7-4 with a 3.26 ERA across 20 starts in 2013.
The right-hander is 30-49 with a 4.70 ERA over 109 career games with the Braves and Pirates.
