Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis may not yet be ready to return from a torn triceps and could sit out the final two games of the regular season.

The Ravens have until Saturday afternoon to make a decision on Lewis' status for Sunday's game against the New York Giants. He remains on injured reserve with a designation to return and has been practicing for the past three weeks.

Lewis, who has been sidelined since suffering the injury in Week 6 back in October, was eligible to return for last week's game against Denver. There had been speculation that he might be activated for this Sunday's game against the Giants.

However, the NFL Network is reporting that Lewis won't play Sunday and will likely also sit out the regular-season finale against Cincinnati. A return for the playoffs is still possible.
