Barcelona, Spain – Barcelona defender Gerard Pique is likely to miss the next two weeks after sustaining a hamstring strain.
Pique suffered the injury just nine minutes into Barcelona's 3-0 win over Racing on Saturday, and according to the team, is expected to miss two weeks.
The Spain international also battled a calf injury at the beginning of the season and he joins a long list of injured players for Barca that includes Alexis Sanchez, Andres Iniesta, Cesc Fabregas, Eric Abidal and Ibrahim Afellay.
The 24-year-old has been limited to three appearances in the league this season and he is likely to miss league matches with Sevilla, Granada and Mallorca as well as a Champions League fixture with Viktoria Plzen.
