Marrakech, Morocco (SportsNetwork.com) - Swiss Romina Oprandi upset top seed Daniela Hantuchova in Saturday's semifinals at the $250,000 Marrakech Grand Prix tennis event.

Oprandi outlasted Hantuchova 7-5, 3-6, 6-3 to reach her first WTA final.

Hantuchova reached the final four via walkover when sixth-seeded Chinese Peng Shuai pulled out of their scheduled quarterfinal match on Friday, citing a left thigh injury.

The 28-year-old Oprandi will face Maria-Teresa Torro-Flor on Sunday for the title after the Spaniard took down fifth seed Garbine Muguruza 6-0, 6-3.

It will also be the first title match of Torro-Flor's career.

The 2014 Marrakech titlist will claim $43,000.
