Terre Haute, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Roosevelt Jones and Kellen Dunham scored 14 points apiece and No. 23 Butler rolled to a 77-54 win over longtime rival Indiana State on Wednesday night.

Kameron Woods added 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Bulldogs (6-1) and Kelan Martin scored 11.

Devonte Brown had 16 points and Jake Kitchell scored 14 to lead the Sycamores (3-4), who were coming off consecutive losses to Illinois and Memphis.

"We're not playing well at either end," said Indiana State coach Greg Lansing. "We make the same mistakes over and over. ... We've got some guys who are playing well but we're not playing together."

Butler was coming off a 64-58 win over Big East foe Georgetown on Friday in the third-place game of the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament after losing to Oklahoma the day before.

The Bulldogs held Indiana State under 30 percent shooting in the first half and led 37-22 at the break.

They took control with an 18-2 run that stretched a three-point lead to 19 with seven minutes left in the half. Dunham and Austin Etherington combined for a trio of 3-pointers to spark the run and Martin scored the last seven points to end it.

"Our guys came out with the appropriate approach and mind set tonight," Butler interim coach Chris Holtmann said, according to the team's official website.

It got as close as 13 points in the first half and 12 in the second. Butler shot almost 54 percent for the game and led by as many as 26 points down the stretch.

It was the 125th meeting between the teams. Butler has won three in a row and leads the series 69-56 ... Butler faces Northwestern on Saturday ... Indiana State plays at Ball State on Saturday.
