Motherwell suffered its third defeat 0 to St Johnstone at Fir Park Stadium.

Tim Clancy's own goal put the home side behind 1-0 at the break, while Francisco Sandaza and Liam Craig tallied goals in the final 15 minutes to secure the win for St Johnstone, which owns eight points from its last four games.

Craig's free kick after 20 minutes contributed to the first goal as the ball bounced around the six-yard box before taking a deflection off of Clancy and finding the back of the net.

Motherwell did manage to create a few chances, but the hosts found themselves down 2-0 with 15 minutes to play as Sandaza pounced on a loose ball inside the area and fired home from 12 yards.

The win was secured five minutes from time when Kevin Moon collected a rebound and laid the ball off for Craig to blast past goalkeeper Darren Randolph.

Dunfermline 2, Hibernian 2

Dunfermline, Scotland - Hibernian was denied its second win of the season on Saturday as Dunfermline came from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw.

Goals from Ivan Sproule and Garry O'Connor handed Hibs a 2-0 lead with 40 minutes to play, but Ryan Thomson pulled a goal back in the 53rd minute before an own goal from Paul Hanlon allowed Dunfermline to grab a share of the points.

Hibernian is winless in five games, while Dunfermline snapped a two-match losing skid.

Aberdeen 2, Kilmarnock 2

Aberdeen, Scotland - Aberdeen rallied for a 2-2 draw at home against Kilmarnock on Saturday after falling behind by two goals in the opening 30 minutes.

Paul Heffernan notched his league-leading fifth goal of the season and Dean Shiels added a second goal to give the visitors a two-goal advantage.

But Andrew Considine pulled his team to within a goal at halftime, and Youl Mawene leveled the contest early in the second half.

Dundee United 3, Inverness 1

Dundee, Scotland - Dundee United snapped a five-game winless streak on Saturday by handing Inverness a 3-1 defeat at Tannadice Park.

The two teams traded goals in the opening 15 minutes with Lauri Dalla Valle putting United ahead and Nick Ross answering for the visitors.

Daniel Swanson made it 2-1 to the home side late in the first half and Jon Daly put the result away in the final 20 minutes.

Hearts 2, St Mirren 0

Edinburgh, Scotland - Hearts extended its unbeaten streak to five games in league play on Saturday, recording a 2-0 win over struggling St Mirren.

Jamie Hamill's successful penalty kick gave the home side the lead, and St Mirren did itself no favors 20 minutes from time when Lee Mair redirected the ball into his own net.

Hearts has earned 11 points from its last five games, with St Mirren suffering a fourth loss in five matches.
