Gerald McLemore scored 23 points and Maine rallied from a 22-point halftime deficit to beat Binghamton 77-74 on Saturday night.

The Black Bears (14-7, 8-1 America East Conference) trailed 45-32 at halftime and held the Bearcats (6-16, 3-6) to 34.3 percent shooting in the second half (12 of 35).

Maine cut it to 61-54 before outscoring Binghamton 15-10 to pull within two, 71-69, with more than four minutes to play. Singleton tied it on a shot through the lane with 3:20 left, sparking five straight points by the Black Bears.

Singleton's three-point play then made it 74-71 with 23 seconds left and Maine held on for its sixth straight win.

Singleton finished with 17 points and seven assists, Troy Barnies added 11 points and Murphy Burnatowski had 10 for the Black Bears.

Mahamoud Jabbi had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead Binghamton, which lost its sixth straight.
