Anthony Lurling scored three minutes from time as NAC tied Willem II, 1-1, on Friday to kick off the 2012-13 Dutch Eredivisie season.

Jens Podevijn scored in the 79th minute for Willem II, but it couldn't hold on as NAC earned a point at Willem II Stadion. NAC earned just six results on the road last season, two wins and four draws.

NAC and newly-promoted Willem II sit tied atop the table as they were the only clubs to open Friday.

PSV Eindhoven, which finished third last season, highlights Saturday's openers when it visits RKC Waalwijk. Roda hosts Zwolle and Heracles host Venlo in the day's other matches.

Defending champion Ajax opens Sunday at home against AZ Alkmaar, while runner- up Feyenoord visits Utrecht on Sunday. Heerenveen hosts NEC, Twente hosts Groningen and Vitesse hosts Den Haag in the other Sunday openers.
