Randell Daigle scored 13 points to reach 1,000 for his career, and Louisiana-Lafayette defeated North Texas 93-88 on Thursday night.

Daigle, who scored all but one in the first half and became the 39th player in school history to reach the milestone, led seven Ragin' Cajuns in double figures.

Travis Bureau scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and La'Ryan Gary added 14 points for Louisiana-Lafayette (6-14, 3-5 Sun Belt Conference). Javan Mitchell scored 13, Bryant Mbamalu 12, and Raymone Andrews and Josh Brown had 11 each for the Ragin' Cajuns, who shot 50 percent from the field (30 of 60).

Louisiana-Lafayette led 38-35 at halftime and started the second half going 3 for 3 to take a 48-40 lead with 15:58 to play. The Ragin' Cajuns extended their lead to 68-45 with 10:13 left.

Josh White scored 21 points and Tristan Thompson had 20 for the Mean Green (16-5, 5-3).
