Juventus extended its lead atop the Serie A table by easing past Atalanta in a 3-0 victory at Juventus Stadium on Sunday.

All three goals came inside the opening half-hour as Mirko Vucinic got Juventus off to a flying start in the second minute of play.

Andrea Pirlo doubled the advantage at the 14 minute mark while Claudio Marchisio wrapped up all three points in the 27th minute.

Thomas Manfredini was sent off four minutes later, making Atalanta's comeback even more improbable.

Juventus improves to 41 points on the season to go seven points clear of Inter Milan, which lost to Lazio on Saturday.

Atalanta has managed 21 points through its 17 games.

AC Milan 4, Pescara 1

Milan, Italy - AC Milan won its fourth straight Serie A match on Sunday, cruising to a 4-1 defeat of Pescara at the San Siro.

Antonio Nocerino's goal in the first minute put the home side in front before Elvis Abbruscato's own goal extended the lead.

Christian Terlizzi pulled one back for Pescara in the 56th minute, but an own goal from Jonathas and an 81st-minute goal from Stephan El Shaarawy sealed the win that lifts Milan to 27 points, good enough for seventh place in Italy's top flight.

Pescara remains second from bottom on 14 points.

Parma 4, Cagliari 1

Parma, Italy - Parma conceded the opening goal but stormed back to claim a 4-1 win over Cagliari at the Stadio Ennio Tardini on Sunday.

Marco Sau's opened in the 20th minute was canceled out by a brace from Ishak Belfodil, a goal from Jonathan Ludovic Biabiany and a penalty from Jamie Valdes, helping Parma snap a two-game losing skid.

Parma improves to 23 points, seven points better than Cagliari, which has lost four in a row.

Fiorentina 4, Siena 1

Florence, Italy - Fiorentina nabbed three first-half goals en route to a 4-1 trouncing of Siena at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday.

Luca Toni, David Pizarro and Alberto Aquilani had given the home side the comfortable edge before the halftime interval. Ferreira Reginaldo pulled one back for Siena, but Toni canceled it out in the 79th minute, eight minutes before Massimi Paci was sent off.

Fiorentina takes sole possession of fifth place with 32 points on the season while Siena remains bottom of the table on 11 points after losing its third straight league game.

Catania 3, Sampdoria 1

Catania, Italy - Catania overturned a first-half deficit to cruise to a 3-1 defeat of Sampdoria at the Stadio Angelo Massimino on Sunday.

Enzo Maresca's penalty had given Sampdoria the lead, but Catania stormed back in the second half with goals from Mario Angel Paglialunga, Gonzalo Bergessio and Lucas Nahuel Castro.

Catania has won two straight to climb to 25 points while Sampdoria has lost two in a row to remain on 17 points.

Chievo 1, Roma 0

Verona, Italy - Roma saw its four-game winning run in Serie A come to an end as Chievo earned a 1-0 victory at the Stadio M.A. Bentegodi on Sunday.

The two sides looked to be heading to a scoreless draw, but Sergio Pellissier struck three minutes from time to deny the Romans a point.

Chievo has won three in a row to improve to 21 points, eight points adrift of Roma.

Genoa 1, Torino 1

Genoa, Italy - Genoa and Torino exchanged goals 10 minutes apart in the first half to split the points in a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday.

Rolando Bianchi had given visiting Torino the lead in the 19th minute, but Genoa clawed its way back thanks to Andreas Granqvist's goal just before the hour mark.

Genoa remains in the relegation zone on 13 points while Torino stays just clear of the danger area by improving to 16 points.

Bologna 3, Napoli 2

Naples, Italy - Bologna grabbed two late goals to steal three points at the Stadio San Paolo on Sunday, earning a 3-2 defeat of Napoli.

The visitors went in front in the 10th minute behind Manolo Gabbiadini's opener, but Napoli took the lead through Alessandro Gamberini and Edinson Cavani. Bologna drew level four minutes from time thanks to Panagiotis Kone, but it was Daniele Portanova's strike that completed the dramatic comeback in the 89th minute.

Bologna, unbeaten in three Serie A contests, climbs to 18 points. Napoli has lost two straight, remaining on 33 points and failing to move into second place.
