Jacksonville Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey has been hospitalized after feeling ill.

Mularkey showed up at the facility Monday morning, a day after his team's 17-10 loss to the New York Jets, and felt ill. He went to a team trainer, who took him to a hospital for tests.

The team says Mularkey might be kept overnight, but offered few other details about his illness.

The Jaguars expect Mularkey back at work Tuesday.

Jacksonville (2-11) has lost nine of its last 10 games, a disappointing first season for Mularkey. The Jaguars rank 31st in the league in offense and defense, playing most of the year without star running back Maurice Jones-Drew and starting linebackers Daryl Smith and Clint Session.
