Indianapolis has a rookie quarterback, an interim coach, a long injury list and one of the league's youngest teams.

Somehow, the Colts (7-4) are heading into December in playoff position.

Few expected Indy to improve this much this fast after going 2-14 last season, not even team owner Jim Irsay.

But it's tough to ignore the Colts now. They're 5-1 at home, 6-1 in games decided one possession and quarterback Andrew Luck continues to be on pace for a historic rookie season. With seven wins, Luck has already matched the victory total of Sam Bradford, the runaway winner as the 2010 NFL offensive rookie of the year.

It hasn't been easy, and interim coach Bruce Arians knows it won't get any easier.
