As a former member of the Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer has plenty of experience facing the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hoyer played against the Bengals four times over the last two years and is hoping to use the knowledge gained to his benefit as the Texans prepare to take on Cincinnati.

The veteran quarterback was able to lead the Browns to a surprise 24-3 win over the Bengals last season and is hoping for similar results with his new team.

"I'm familiar with their personnel and their scheme," Hoyer said, per John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. "I didn't have to look at the scouting report because I know them by name and number. They don't change much. They do a good job of keeping their players.

"With my familiarity with their personnel, I can try to use that to help our team this week."

The Texans face the undefeated Bengals next Monday night.
