Regular Season MVP 2025-26
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Thunder: -800
Last week: -270
What to know: SGA is second in the NBA in scoring (31.7), and his Thunder have the best record in the NBA. He is also in the midst of a remarkable streak of 126 consecutive 20-point games, tied for the most in NBA history (Wilt Chamberlain). The Thunder are also 3-0 against their biggest rivals this season, the Denver Nuggets, and in their most recent matchup, SGA hit the game-winning 3, finishing with 35 points and 15 assists. Gilgeous-Alexander is attempting to become the 14th player in NBA history to win back-to-back MVP awards.
Nikola Jokić, Nuggets: +1500
Last week: +475
What to know: After missing 16 games due to injury, Jokić has played 17 straight games for the Nuggets. However, Denver is just 7-10 in those contests. Jokić recently passed Oscar Robertson for the second-most triple-doubles in NBA history. He's looking to become the first player in NBA history to top the league in assists and rebounds per game in a single season, two categories he currently leads. However, if he misses more than one game the rest of the season, he will not be MVP-eligible. Add that to the fact that Denver is 0-3 against OKC, and the award appears SGA's to lose.
Victor Wembanyama, Spurs: +1500
Last week: +2000
What to know: The Spurs are a force to be reckoned with behind their star center, having won 16 of their last 17. They have the second-best record in the West and are within arm's length of SGA and OKC, trailing by just 2.5 games. Wemby leads the NBA in blocks per game and is the favorite to win Defensive Player of the Year.
Cade Cunningham, Pistons: +2500
Last week: +1000
What to know: Cunningham's Pistons have the third-best record in the NBA, and are the top team in the East behind their star point guard, who is second in the league in assists per game and averaging over 25 points for the second consecutive season. However, they have lost four of their last five.
