Giants sign Gordy

East Rutherford, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Giants signed defensive back Josh Gordy on Wednesday.

Gordy appeared in 16 games last season for the Indianapolis Colts and recorded 24 tackles and one interception.

During his five-year career, which started in Green Bay and moved to St. Louis before spending the last three seasons with the Colts, the Central Michigan product has 99 tackles and five picks.

The Giants also signed linebacker Ryan Jones on Wednesday. The Montana Tech product was originally signed as a free agent by the Baltimore Ravens on May 13, 2013 and waived/injured (foot) on June 3.
