Darryl Evans scored 24 points to lead Furman over Davidson 88-79 on Saturday night.

The Paladins (19-7, 11-4 Southern Conference) had a good night shooting the ball, paced by Evans, who was 8 of 9 from the field, including 3 of 4 from 3-point range.

Furman shot 56.8 percent from the field (25 of 44), going 12 for 20 in the second half, but finished with 16 turnovers that led to 22 Davidson points.

The Wildcats (13-13, 7-8) had only seven turnovers, but shot just 38.3 percent (26 of 67), including 29.2 percent from beyond the 3-point arc (7 of 24).

Noah States and Jordan Miller scored 14 points each, Amu Saaka added 13 and Colin Reddick had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Furman.

Nik Cochran scored 18 points and De'Mon Brooks and Brendan McKillop had 16 each for the Wildcats, who snapped a five-game winning streak.
