Davie, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Dolphins re-signed defensive tackle Randy Starks to a multi-year contract on Wednesday.

Starks has spent the last six seasons in Miami and over the course of his 10- year career, the two-time Pro Bowler has tallied 451 tackles, 36 1/2 sacks and four interceptions.

"I am delighted to welcome Randy Starks back to the Miami Dolphins," Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey said. "He is a two-time Pro Bowler and his career speaks for itself. Randy was a key piece to last year's defense and is the type of player, both on and off the field, that we are looking to add to this football team."

Starks was originally selected by the Tennessee Titans in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft.
