Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Dodgers placed pitcher Todd Coffey on the 15-day disabled list with right elbow soreness Tuesday.
Coffey has made 23 appearances out of the Dodgers' bullpen this season, pitching to a 1-0 record with a 4.66 earned run average.
It is his second stint on the DL this year after also getting put on the shelf from April 14-30 with right knee inflammation.
To fill the roster spot, Los Angeles recalled pitcher Shawn Tolleson from Triple-A Albuquerque.
Tolleson has a 7.71 ERA and no decisions in six relief appearances for the Dodgers this year.
