Stacy Davis scored a career-high 22 points in his first double-double performance to lead Pepperdine to a 76-66 victory over Montana State on Thursday night.

Davis, a freshman forward, grabbed 11 rebounds for the Waves (4-2).

Lorne Jackson scored 16 points. Nikolas Skouen, who was 4 of 4 from 3-point range, scored 14 points.

The Waves, who had a 36-26 lead at halftime, shot 50.9 percent from the field for the game.

The Bobcats shot 39.7 percent from the field for the game, which had three lead changes.

Xavier Blount scored 19 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Bobcats (1-4). Jamie Stewart added 14 points. Paul Egwuonwu also had six rebounds.

The Waves have their first four-game winning streak since November 2007.
