Foxborough, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Columbus Crew SC and the New England Revolution played out a tame 0-0 draw at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, extending the home side's unbeaten streak to four games.

The Revs lost their first two matches this season but have rebounded to collect eight points from their last four games, while the Crew played to a second straight draw.

New England asked most of the questions in the first half despite Columbus owning the majority of the possession, but the game fizzled out in the second half and both sides seemed content to settle for a point.

The best spell of play for either side belonged to the Revs in the final 15 minutes of the first half.

Lee Nguyen whipped a shot on goal from a tight angle for New England but Crew goalkeeper Steve Clark was equal to the task.

Clark was called into action again just one minute later when Nguyen set up a good chance for Juan Agudelo, whose effort was kept out at close range by some good reactions from the netminder.

But despite taking some momentum into halftime New England wasn't able to build on it and the second 45 minutes played out with no clear-cut scoring chances for either side as both teams lacked the necessary creativity to break the deadlock.

Columbus failed to register a shot on goal over the course of 90 minutes, while the Revs failed to test Clark after the break, leaving both teams with a point.
