Noruwa Agho scored 16 points and Columbia used a strong second half to beat poor shooting Dartmouth 66-45 on Saturday night.

Brian Barbour and Steve Frankoski each finished with 13 points for the Lions (12-6, 3-1 Ivy League). Asenso Ampim had 12 points and John Daniels grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.

The game was tied at 25 at halftime, but Columbia jumped out to 39-29 in the second half when Daniels converted a three-point play with 15:31 left.

The Big Green (5-13, 1-3) never threatened the rest of the way against the Lions, who held them to 24 percent shooting (6 of 25) from the floor in the second half after Dartmouth shot over 41 percent before halftime.

Columbia didn't do much from the floor, shooting 38.5 percent for the game, but made 20 of its 25 free throws.

Jabari Trotter led Dartmouth with 12 points and R.J. Griffin added 10.
