Indianapolis, IN – Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Austin Collie suffered a concussion against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
"Austin (Collie) did suffer a concussion," Colts coach Chuck Pagano said Monday. "He came in today, felt really good, was examined by the doctors and basically is going to be day-to-day. He felt really good coming out of the game this morning after being evaluated today."
Collie, who's had a history of concussion issues, was injured while attempting to haul in an Andrew Luck pass over the middle. As he went down, he took a hit to the helmet from Larry Foote.
The Colts also lost defensive ends Robert Mathis (shoulder strain) and Cory Redding (leg) during the contest.
"(The) MRI came back and (Redding's) got a mild MCL sprain. It could be a week or so. He's in here treating it right now, so he's got a mild MCL," Pagano said. "(Robert) Mathis is fine. We had a bunch of guys with nicks and bruises but basically those (Collie and Redding) are the two major ones."
