Colorado acquires Klute on loan

Commerce City, CO – The Colorado Rapids announced Friday that the club has acquired defender Chris Klute on a one-year loan deal from the Atlanta Silverbacks of the NASL.

"Chris is a good young player, and we're excited to bring him into the group," said Rapids Technical Director Paul Bravo. "He has shown a lot of potential and our staff is looking forward to seeing what he can contribute at this level."

Klute, 22, joined the Silverbacks in June and has played in all of the team's 12 matches since, logging the full 90 minutes in his 11 starts and recording one assist.
