NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed veteran linebacker Derrick Johnson and offensive lineman Ikechuku Ndukwe, the National Football League team said on Thursday.
Johnson, a first-round pick by the Chiefs out of the University of Texas in 2005, has played 74 games for Kansas City. The hard-hitting linebacker has forced 11 fumbles and made three fumble recoveries.
The 325-pound (148 kg) Ndukwe, from Northwestern University, has played in 33 games in an NFL career that has included stops in Washington, Baltimore, Miami and Kansas City.
