Glasgow, Scotland – Celtic signed Nigeria international Efe Ambrose on Friday on a three-year contract.
Ambrose, 23, joins Celtic from Ashdod in the Israeli Premier League. He opened his career with Kaduna United in Nigeria.
"It has been a long day, but it has been worth it," Ambrose said. "(This) is one of the happiest days of my life, signing for one of the biggest clubs in the world - a club I have known about since I was young."
Ambrose played for Nigeria at the 2008 Olympics, helping his country claim the silver medal in China.
