Lake Forest, IL – The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms with former New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis on a one-year deal.
The 27-year-old was selected seventh overall by the Saints in 2008. In five NFL seasons, Ellis has a combined 173 tackles, 12.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 70 career games with the Saints.
Ellis also visited with Detroit and New England over the past few days as well.
