About The Panel

JUAN WILLIAMS

Juan Williams joined Fox News Channel (FNC) in 1997 as a contributor. He currently serves as a Fox News political analyst, a regular panelist on Fox Broadcasting's Sunday morning public affairs program, "Fox News Sunday," as well as the weekday political newscast, "Special Report with Bret Baier," and as a regular substitute host for "The O'Reilly Factor."

In addition to his more than 10-year career with NPR, where he served as a senior national correspondent and news analyst, William had spent 23 years at "The Washington Post." During his tenure there, Williams covered every major political campaign from 1980 to 2000 as a national correspondent and a political columnist. He has also interviewed numerous influential people and Presidents over the course of his career, including President Obama, former President George W. Bush, former President Clinton, former President George H. W. Bush and former President Reagan.

Williams' career in media spans back several decades across many platforms. A recipient of several awards for his writing and investigative journalism, he also won an Emmy Award for television documentary writing and has received widespread critical acclaim for numerous projects, including a series of documentaries, including: "Politics: The New Black Power" and "A. Phillip Randolph: For Jobs and Freedom." Additionally, he is the author of six books, including the non-fiction bestseller, "Eyes on the Prize: America's Civil Rights Years, 1954-1965" and "Thurgood Marshall: American Revolutionary."

ELIZABETH LLORENTE

Elizabeth Llorente is the Politics Editor and Senior Politics Reporter for Fox News Latino. She  writes on a variety of issues, in particular immigration, a topic in which her expertise has garnered nationwide acclaim.

Llorente has won numerous awards, including the George Polk Award and New Jersey Journalist of the Year.

While at the Bergen Record, one of New Jersey's major newspapers, she profiled dozens of ethnic communities, put a human face on complex issues through powerful narratives, and exposed abuse and corruption that have generated reforms at both the state and national levels.

Her work has become a national model for race and ethnicity reporting, earning her the 2004 Career Achievement Award by the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Llorente's coverage of immigration detention, for instance, has become required reading for reporters, scholars, and activists researching the U.S. political asylum system. In 2003, the Annenberg Institute of the University of Southern California named her one of the country’s top five race and ethnicity writers, and made her an Expert Fellow.

ALAN COLMES

Alan Colmes joined Fox News Channel in 1996. He served as the liberal counterpart and co-host of "Hannity & Colmes," a one-hour debate-driven talk show focusing on controversial newsmakers and issues of the day.  After a string of successful radio shows on WNBC, WABC and WMCA in New York, Colmes gained a reputation as a hard-hitting liberal known for his electric commentary on the American agenda.

He has interviewed many key political figures, which include Former President Bill Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Steve Forbes, New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Ralph Nader and Ken Starr.

He also hosts a news-driven late-night radio talk show "The Alan Colmes Show," which is syndicated by the Fox News Radio.

DAN STEIN

Dan Stein is the president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), a non-partisan, non-profit 501 educational organization. FAIR advocates for reforms of U.S. immigration policies that would result in significant immigration reduction. He is also a member of the Citizens' Debate Commission, a nonpartisan American organization, formed in 2004, that was established to sponsor future general election presidential debates.
