Justin Bieber surprises meningitis survivor with quinceañera party

Latina girls celebrate the milestone of turning 15 years old with a full-on quinceañera party, but for a girl named Ashley Quintero, that didn’t happen.

The 21-year-old was fighting meningitis as a teenager – she was so sick doctors didn’t think she was going to make it. But listening to Justin Bieber’s song “Pray,” she found the strength to overcome the disease.

On Tuesday, the Canadian pop singer surprised Quintero -- as part of Ryan Seacrest’s “Knock Knock Live” show airing on Fox -- with her very own quinceañera celebration.

“I am literally shaking right now,” Quintero told the cameras soon after Bieber knocked on her family’s home.

“I can’t tell you where we are going, but you can pick out your favorite dress,” the singer told Quintero while handing her several dresses to try on.

Dressed to the nines in a glam ball gown, Quintero was escorted by Bieber to her party.

“I feel like I’m dreaming,” she said during the car ride. “This is like a fairytale come true.”

“Well you are the princess and I will be your prince charming whenever you want,” Bieber responded. “To be able to see Ashley in that environment, to see her around all of her friends and family was amazing. It was magical for me.”

Bieber and Quintero hit the dance floor with “Pray” playing in the background.

Quintero and her family were also given a shopping spree by Retail Me Not and $10,000 to pay for medical expenses.

As part of Tuesday's episode, Bieber also surprised hardworking father Nikia and his son Noah, who has Down syndrome, by visiting their church. He gifted them a check for $50,000.
