She may have the voice of a diva, but Ariana Grande says she doesn’t have the demands of one.

In a radio interview with Australia’s The Edge 96.ONE, the “Problem” singer addresses recent rumors that she stormed out of a photo shoot after finding the crew to be unsatisfactory to her standards. Speaking with DJs Mike E and Emma, the 21-year-old insists that those reports are “totally untrue and annoying.”

“It was just a photographer or something who got mad at me because I left to change my outfit mid-photo shoot because I didn’t like my top,” she explains. “I was like, ‘Oh, I’ll be right back!’ and then I came back and he had left. I was like, ‘Oh, s--t!’”

She continues, “Then he came out and said all these ridiculous, untrue things about me. I was like, ‘That’s not real. That’s nonsense!’”

According to Star magazine, the former Nickelodeon starlet allegedly arrived to the shoot “hours late, with no explanation, and refused to do anything that the photographer asked.”

“She was a total nightmare. She demanded to be shot only on her left side and told the lighting crew that if they used red light, she would ‘kill herself,’” a source told Star. “They were saying that she is, hands down, the most difficult person they have ever had to work with.”

According to Grande, her so-called diva behavior has been taken out of context.

“My fans know who I am, my family knows who I am, my friends know who I am, and that’s all that matters,” she says. “No matter what you do, no matter what your profession is, no matter how old you are, everybody deals with haters. We could talk about it for hours.”
