Machine Gun Kelly

Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, is a rapper, singer and actor who has gained a lot of attention over the years for his many albums with his unique sound, movie appearances and his relationship with Megan Fox.

MGK was born on April 22, 1990, in Houston, Texas. He moved many times as a child, including out of the United States, being that both of his parents were missionaries. He ultimately settled down in Cleveland, Ohio, where he spent most of his childhood. He has a daughter, Casie Baker, who was born in July 2009. Casie’s mother is Emma Cannon, who he met before he was famous. Casie was born when he was 18-years-old.

Baker took on the name Machine Gun Kelly for the flow and speed of his lyrics. It is also a reference to criminal George “Machine Gun” Kelly Barnes. Before signing with Bad Boy and Interscope Records in 2011, he released multiple mix tapes including “Stamp of Approval” and “100 Words and Running.” After signing to the record label, he released his debut album, “Lace Up” in 2012, which reached No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard 200. It featured songs like “Wild Boy,” “Invincible” and “Stereo.” In 2015, he released “General Admission” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hip Albums. His other albums are “Bloom,” “BINGE,” “Hotel Diablo” and "Tickets to my Downfall." Some of his popular hits include “Bad Things,” “Till I Die,” “Bloody Valentine” and “My Ex’s Best Friend.”

Machine Gun Kelly has also gotten into film and has made appearances in movies including “Nerve,” “Bird Box,” “The King of Staten Island” and “Downfalls High.” In 2021, he played Calvin in “Midnight in the Switchgrass,” where he first met Megan Fox. The two started dating in 2020 and got engaged in January 2022. They are a very public couple and have been seen on multiple occasions spending time with their friends and fellow Hollywood couple, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker.
