A picture of F1 legend Michael Schumacher has been smuggled out of his home by a friend who then tried to sell it for £1 million pounds.

The seven-time world champion suffered a traumatic brain injury in December 2013 and since then no snaps or video footage have emerged.

So how did the picture get leaked?

The image –which was secretly taken – was smuggled out of his home by a money-hungry friend.

The prosecutor’s office in Offenburg said that “an unknown person” had taken “secret” snaps and were offering them for “high amounts of money”.

What do the pictures show?

It is reported the picture shows Schumacher lying in bed at his home in Geneva, Switzerland.

The ghoulish photograph has reportedly been offered to European media outlets for close to £1million.

German prosecutors insist the picture violates the former Ferrari ace’s “personal range of life” and are now investigating the incident.
