2014 looks like it’s going to be a quick year…in Chevy dealerships.

Hot on the tail of the unveiling of the all new Corvette Stingray and high-performance SS sports sedan, Chevrolet is set to unveil an updated 2014 Camaro at the New York Auto Show at the end of March, according to a press release put out by the show’s organizers.

Spy shots of Camaros believed to be test vehicles for the mid-cycle update show only mild changes to the exterior of the car, but rumor has it there could be some big changes under the hood.

A service document posted on a GM website in December, and since removed, indicated that a Camaro featuring the 505 hp 7.0-liter V8 from the Corvette Z06 could be in the cards, as well as one with a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6.

Fans of the car jumped on the news, speculating that the monster V8 could hearken the return of a Z28 model to the Camaro lineup.

Since its return in 2010, the Camaro has been locked in a fierce battle with Ford’s Mustang for best-selling muscle car bragging rights, each rolling out a slew of special editions to keep things exciting and customers coming into showrooms.

But while Chevrolet has confirmed to FoxNews.com that the new Camaros will be one of its stars at the New York show, but mum’s still the word on what will be making them go.

Luckily you won't have to wait long to find out, all will be revealed in New York on March 27th.
