A man arrested for stealing a boat in Boston over the weekend identified himself to police as "Peter Pan" when he was finally tracked down.

Derek Ramsay, 26, of Topsham, Mass., was arraigned Monday and charged with larceny over $250, breaking and entering into a boat, using a boat without authority, and furnishing a false name, according to MyFoxBoston.com

The owner of the boat told authorities that a man had boarded his boat while it was moored at a landing and sped off on the Charles River in the direction of Boston's Museum of Science.

Massachusetts State Police troopers tracked the boat down and told Ramsay to move to the stern. According to MyFoxBoston.com, when the troopers asked Ramsay who the owner of the boat was, he responded, "I am." Then, when asked to give his first name, Ramsay allegedly replied, "Peter." When asked to give his last name, Ramsay allegedly replied, "Pan."

Bail for Ramsay was set at $2,000 and was revoked due to unrelated larceny charges. He is due back in court August 2.
