Former Wofford defensive end Ameet Pall could be a first-round selection when the CFL holds its annual college draft on Thursday.

Pall, from Montreal, drew a No. 7 overall ranking from the CFL Scouting Bureau last month. As a junior in 2010, the 6-foot, 245-pound prospect was the co- runner-up for the Buck Buchanan Award in the Football Championship Subdivision.

Christo Bilukidi, a 6-5, 307-pound defensive lineman from Georgia State, was ranked one spot ahead of Pall at No. 6. However, the Oakland Raiders selected Bilukudi in the sixth round of the NFL Draft last Saturday, and that could decrease the Ottawa resident's value among CFL teams.

Forty-five players will be selected in the draft, which starts at 3 p.m. ET.
